The Enforcement Directorate (ED) named AAP MP Raghav Chadha in its second supplemental chargesheet in the Delhi liquor policy case on May 2, 2023. C. Raghav Chadha, an Aam Aadmi Party MP, was suspended from the Rajya Sabha today for “breach of privilege” following accusations from four MPs that he identified them in a house panel without their knowledge, in violation of norms.
The upper house approved a move submitted by the house leader, Piyush Goyal, to suspend Raghav Chadha till the privileges committee reports on the claims of violation of privilege. Mr. Goyal criticized the AAP leader’s “unethical behavior,” calling it a “outrageous disregard of the rules.”
