After completing his engineering degree, he set his sights on the coveted civil services examinations conducted by the Union Public Service Commission (UPSC). In 2010, Tushar Singla joined the IAS, beginning his journey as a public servant.

In 2014, Tushar achieved his goal of becoming an IAS officer after his second attempt at the UPSC (Union Public Services Commission) exam. Tushar obtained an All India Rank of 86 in his examinations.
